This offseason was particularly special for Packers wide receiver Christian Watson.

The 24-year-old Watson married his college sweetheart, Lakyn Adkins in Malibu, California in front of some of his teammates and singer Jordin Sparks on Friday, according to People.

Packers quarterback Jordan Love, linebacker De’Vondre Campbell, running back Aaron Jones, tight end Josiah Deguara and wideouts Bo Melton, Samori Toure and Romeo Doubs attended the destination wedding, which took place at the private Stone Mountain Estates.

Watson explained that Adkins took the reigns when it came to planning their dream wedding.

“Since I was busy with football, I let Lakyn take the lead with [wedding planner] Tori [Perano]. I gave her items that I really wanted to see happen for our wedding and she carried that out,” the 6-foot-4 Watson said.

Adkins was a vision in a satin Celine dress by Rime Arodaky, which featured a strapless bustier with pearl details, removable balloon sleeves and a high-slit wrap skirt.

Watson looked dapper in a custom dark green tuxedo by Alba with fabrics sourced from Italy.

The newlyweds also wore matching Alexander McQueen shoes.

“We are team for life,” Watson said, adding that he loves that Adkins “lets me be me and do all of the things that I enjoy.”

The couple — who began dating during his playing days at North Dakota State — treated guests to a welcome party at Cambria Hotel Calabasas on Thursday.

Adkins told the publication that Watson proposed while the couple took family photos with their dog in Fargo in April 2022.

“Towards the end of the shoot, he proposed to me,” she said.

Watson and Adkins met during their freshman year at North Dakota State in 2017.

They were introduced by mutual friends at a Bison football game — and the rest is history.
