Olivia Dunne posts video of scary gymnastics practice ‘fail’

Olivia Dunne shared the scary side of being an elite gymnast.

Taking to her Instagram, the star LSU gymnast posted a video of her taking a hard fall while practicing bars ahead of next week’s NCAA Women’s Gymnastics Championships.

“Bars: 1 Livvy: 0,” Dunne, a senior at LSU, wrote in in her caption, adding the hashtags, “tumbling” and “fail.”

The video featured a clip of the 21-year-old Dunne sticking a landing while on the bars during a competition — and another of her flying from the bars and crashing down on the mat.

A coach nearby appeared to run over to Dunne after she slammed to ground and rolled on her back.

The Sports Illustrated model’s post joking about the fall indicated that she was in good spirits and seemingly OK afterwards.

Dunne, a New Jersey native, and the Lady Tigers are preparing to compete in the 2024 NCAA Women’s Gymnastics Championships, which will take place in Fort Worth, Texas, from April 18-20.

LSU, ranked third, won its fifth conference title at the SEC Championship last month in New Orleans — where it finished with a top score of 198.075, which was the program’s highest at the championships.

Dunne competed in the third spot for her second appearance on bars this year and scored 9.800.

The Lady Tigers captured their fifth title in program history after they finished the regular season as the No. 1 team in the conference.

Dunne — who is a top NIL earner with a reported NIL valuation of $3.7 million — is on cloud nine in her final collegiate season.

The Vuori Clothing partner, who is dating Pirates prospect Paul Skenes, has been supporting the pitcher from afar as he prepares to start his 2024 season in the minors.

Dunne and Skenes, who led the Tigers to a national championship during the 2023 College World Series, went public with their relationship last August.
