NFL Week 10 predictions: Consistent Seahawks will cover

NFL Week 10 predictions: Consistent Seahawks will cover

Sunday

Seahawks (+3) vs. Buccaneers (at Munich, Germany)

Sunday morning game for Geno Smith and the ultra-consistent Seahawks. Seattle outfit continues to perform ahead of the handicappers. Tom Brady is a tough nut to crack, but his presence keeps the price fair.

GIANTS (-5) over Texans

Given the reasonable price assigned Big Blue in this matchup, suspect home-side advantage will likely carry the day for the New Yorkers in their home digs. The Texans’ offensive power remains moderate, but don’t expect this to turn into a slugfest.

BILLS (-3.5) over Vikings:

Buffalo’s recent loss to the Jets is likely to keep the Bills motivated and hungry. The Vikings are improved, but need more big efforts from QB Kirk Cousins before we buy in full bore.

DOLPHINS (-3.5) over Browns

Cleveland continues to be up against awaiting Deshaun Watson’s belated return to action on Dec. 4. Until then, Miami and Tua Tagovailoa should enjoy the best of it.

Jaguars (+9.5) over CHIEFS

Surmising that the Chiefs may be subject to a bit of a letdown, given the broad scheduling situation. Slightest of leans to Jacksonville, but not taking a strong position, either way. Like some other games more.

STEELERS (+1.5) over Saints

Have to like the extra time to prepare that the schedule-makers have afforded to Pittsburgh here. We’re not waxing enthusiastic about the current state of the Saints’ offense, thus our broad outlook.

Broncos (+3) over TITANS

Expect Tennessee to be involved in more than its typical share of Unders, with Derrick Henry and the running game carrying more than their normal share. Figures to be a close call, given the Broncos’ iffy ground defense.

BEARS (-3) over Lions

Versatile offensive wonder Justin Fields continues to outperform his harshest critics for the Bears. The Lions will do their best to keep pace here, but expect Fields to keep up his end, as long as he stays healthy.

Colts (+4.5) over RAIDERS

Indianapolis is more than capable of carrying a dose of revenge to its advantage, as Las Vegas continues to turn in more disappointing offensive efforts than we’ve expected.

Cowboys (-4.5) over PACKERS

There doesn’t seem to be an unlimited supply of good feeling with the Packers, given Aaron Rodgers’ less-than-unlimited goodwill vis-à-vis his teammates. Expect good things from Dallas in January, to say the least.

Cardinals (+1.5) over RAMS

That defending-champ hangover can be a bear to deal with, and the Rams seem not to be immune to this kind of thing. The desert Cards have been making the most of their opportunities and offer value.

49ERS (-7) over Chargers

Much more bullish on the overall 49ers outlook, as we swing headlong into the final stages of the league’s regular season. The Bolts are in the midst of a nasty road-heavy scheduling stretch, and compelled to relish Christian McCaffrey’s presence.

Monday

Commanders (+11) over EAGLES: Long-time divisional rivals clash, as Philly continues to feel the pressure as the league’s long undefeated entity. Given their generous head start provided by the oddsmakers, this could evolve into a matchup closer than the experts think.
