Where to catch catfish in Stardew Valley ?

Stardrew valley is a 2016 simulation role-playing game that can be played on various platforms starting from consoles (PS4, Xbox, etc) to PC (Windows, Linux, etc.). Launched by Microsoft this open-ended game allows you to step into the shoes of a young farm boy who recently inherited a plot of land from his deceased grandfather. Situated in this fictional village, Stardrew valley, this game gives full access to the player to grow crops, breed livestock, and even start a family along with various other fun activities available.

Catfish – where to find them?

Even if at the first instance they might seem to be a little hard to find, there are places where they can be easily acquired from during the time of rainy weather:

During the Spring and Winter only at the time of rainy weather the river – near Pelican town and Cindersap Forest

During the Summer, they can be found in Secret Woods or Witch’s Swamp (also found here during the Spring)

During the time of spring or fall, you might even get them occasionally in the garbage cans if you are lucky enough.

What can you do with the catfish?

Once you have acquired the dried starfish artifact, there are a couple of things that you can do with it:

Donate it to the Museum, which will increase your count of contribution to that place.

Can be used to gift it to your friend which will significantly increase your friendship level. But be careful! It is appreciated by Willy only; the other villagers don’t seem to be a big fan of it.
