What is ‘The Mandalorian and Grogu’ About?

In the film ‘The Mandalorian,’ a lone bounty hunter is assigned to capture Grogu, a mysterious and adorable creature. However, he forms a strong bond with Grogu and endeavors to shield him from numerous threats, delving into his changing role in a post-Empire galaxy.

‘The Mandalorian and Grogu’ will lead Lucasfilm’s upcoming films. Directors include Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, James Mangold, and Dave Filoni, who’s also working on Ahsoka Season 2.

In an interview, Favreau said, “I have loved telling stories set in the rich world that George Lucas created” Favreau added, “The prospect of bringing the Mandalorian and his apprentice Grogu to the big screen is extremely exciting.”

Kennedy, the President of Lucasfilm, said, “Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni have ushered into Star Wars two new and beloved characters, and this new story is a perfect fit for the big screen.”
