Sydney Sweeney was spotted arriving at the Carlyle Hotel in New York today, May 4, 2024 (Saturday), ahead of the 2024 Met Gala. She has been confirmed to be appearing at this year’s Met Gala.

Sweeney looked stylish in denim as she arrived at the hotel. She wore baggy jeans and a bandana-cut top, both in denim with brown suede details. Her top stood out over the pants, following a trend from last year’s catwalks, now updated by Sweeney.

After leaving the hotel, Sweeney wore Sarah Burton’s latest collection for Alexander McQueen (spring-summer 2024). Fresh from the catwalk, she joined the list of celebrities wearing this sought-after look, including Beyoncé. For accessories, Sweeney opted for white heels with a metallic toe, while still holding onto her mini Hobo bag.

Speaking to Variety, Sweeney says that she notices how people write and talk about her body, but she doesn’t allow herself to react to it.

Sweeney said, “People feel connected and free to be able to speak about me in whatever way they want because they believe that I’ve signed my life away.” Sweeney said, “That I’m not on a human level anymore, because I’m an actor.”

Sweeney recently starred in Sony’s rom-com ‘Anyone but You,’ alongside Glen Powell. The film grossed $219 million worldwide and made a net profit of $103 million. Also, she starred in the horror thriller ‘Immaculate‘.
