Some Taylor Swift fans get second shot at Ticketmaster tour tickets

Here we go again.

Some Taylor Swift fans are rejoicing Monday over what seems to be an early Christmas miracle as Ticketmaster sent select Swifties an email offering an “additional opportunity” to buy tickets to her upcoming Eras Tour.

Fans who “received a boost” during last month’s fiasco of a Verified Fan presale but couldn’t land tickets are the recipients of the second chance, many of whom shared the email on Twitter.

“We apologize for the difficulties you may have experienced, and have been asked by Taylor’s team to create this additional opportunity for you to purchase tickets,” the email read.

Fans will get individual invitations to submit ticket requests before Dec. 23, Ticketmaster claimed. After that, fans will be notified if their request was successful.

The Wall Street Journal estimated Saturday that there are 163,600 tickets left across 52 dates — just over 3,000 tickets on average per show.

“Thank you for your patience and we will be in touch soon,” the email ended.

Some fans received this email from Ticketmaster on Monday.

In true Swift “Style,” the surprise comes one day before her 33rd birthday on Dec. 13.

But it also comes after millions of fans rushed Ticketmaster in November trying to score seats to Swift’s first tour in five years. The site was seemingly unprepared for the traffic, leading to outrageous wait times, furious fans and a canceled public ticket sale.

The debacle resulted in an investigation into Ticketmaster and its parent company, Live Nation, as well as a lawsuit from 25 Swift fans.

Swift herself could not “Shake It Off,” writing in a statement days after the presale, “It’s truly amazing that 2.4 million people got tickets but it really pisses me off that a lot of them feel like they went through several bear attacks to get them.”

“And to those who didn’t get tickets, all I can say is that my hope is to provide more opportunities for us to all get together and sing these songs,” she added.
