Samuel L. Jackson (Captain Marvel) and Henry Golding (Crazy Rich Asians) are set to lead thriller Head Games, to be directed by Anthony Mandler (Monster) from a script written by Colin Liddle (Penny Dreadful: City of Angels).
In the sci-fi thriller, a corporate spy poses as a personal chef to infiltrate the villa of a former founder of a neuroprosthetics firm in order to steal his seismic-shifting new invention. Nothing is as it seems as the mind games begin.
Ahead of the Cannes market, CAA Media Finance and Range Media Partners will be co-representing U.S. sales, with A Higher Standard handling all international sales. Pic is slated to start principal photography in October.
Range Media Partners’ Brian Kavanaugh-Jones and Fred Berger will produce with Brillstein Entertainment Partners’ Josh Glick and Everlast Pictures’ Adonis Tountas.
A Higher Standard’s Jeffrey Greenstein, Range Media Partners’ Casey Durant, Brillstein Entertainment Partners’ Zach Frognowski, and Kesh Keswani will serve as executive producers.

Head Games is a propulsive story that pushes the boundaries of what we know as reality and what could ultimately become fiction before our eyes. The buildup and ultimate unraveling of these characters is both a metaphor for our culture today as well as a foreshadowing to what’s to come. I couldn’t think of two better actors to bring Graham and Jacob to life than Sam and Henry.”
