Kenny Albert will be the voice of the NHL on TNT, The Post has learned.
The 53-year-old Albert will man the mic as the voice of the Stanley Cup for four of the next eight finals.
With Doc Emrick retired, Albert is expected to call the 2021 Finals in NBC’s last season with hockey before shifting to TNT.
Late last month, the NHL and Turner announced a new seven-year agreement worth $225 million per year for the rights to three Stanley Cups, half the playoffs and regular season games, including the Winter Classic.
ESPN/ABC will take over the other half of the package and, after this season, will have the Stanley Cup Finals in four of the next seven years. ESPN has yet to name lead broadcast teams, but Steve Levy and Sean McDonough have emerged as top candidates for the lead play-by-play job.
Albert is the radio voice of the Rangers. He has been with Fox for more than a quarter century.
