Taye Diggs Set To Return To ‘All American’ For Season 6 Guest Appearance

EXCLUSIVE: Taye Diggs is making a return to All American for one upcoming episode.

The actor, whose character died in Season 5, is set to appear in the May 20 episode of The CW series, which will usher in the 100th episode on May 27.

While canonically its been more than a year since the All American universe lost Billy Baker, Diggs only exited the series last season.

His character died in Season 5, Episode 11, titled “Time.” Since then, the characters have been grieving Billy’s death in various ways, and Season 6 has largely focused so far on the ways everyone is trying to move forward without him.

Details around how, exactly, Diggs will appear in the episode are being kept under wraps, and a logline for the episode has not been released quite yet.

Season 6 of All American was recently expanded from 13 episodes to 15, which was intended to allow the writers to better flesh out the story and build toward a satisfying conclusion.

The series stars Daniel Ezra, Michael Evans Behling, Samantha Logan, Greta Onieogou, Bre-Z, Chelsea Tavares, Cody Christian, Monét Mazur, and Karimah Westbrook.
