RCMP officer Shelby Patton was killed by a truck in the morning at around 8 a.m as per CBC.
When he was on duty, he spotted two suspects who were driving a stolen truck. While on the way to follow the truck, Shelby initiated a traffic stop.
Further, while Patton came out of his police vehicle to check on those suspects, he was mercilessly struck by the truck resulting in the on-the-spot death of Shelby.
The truck driver and his assistance (an adult male and female) are currently in police custody after they were caught in the rural area of Saskatchewan.
