We’re about to find out, as the NCAA women’s March Madness 2024 field has officially been set, and to no one’s surprise, the 32-0 Gamecocks are the No. 1 overall seed.

South Carolina is a year removed from taking a 36-0 record into the Final Four, where it lost to Caitlin Clark and Iowa.

That defeat will hang over Dawn Staley’s squad as it tries to go undefeated once again.

Betting on March Madness 2024?


The madness will begin with the First Four on Wednesday and Thursday, followed by the first round on Friday and Saturday and the second round next Sunday and Monday.

The Sweet 16 is set for March 29 and 30 and the Elite Eight will take place on March 31 and April 1.

Cleveland will host the Final Four on April 5 and the national championship game on April 7.
