NC State scores another March Madness upset by knocking off Marquette

North Carolina State’s Cinderella run lives for another day.

The No. 11 seed Wolfpack topped No. 2-seed Marquette in their Sweet 16 matchup, 67-58, on Friday night to move on to the Elite 8 as their magical ride continues.

It’s the first time since 1986 that N.C. State has made it this far into the tournament.

DJ Horne led the way with 19 points while Casey Morsell added 15.
