Christopher Brown is “never cashing out, never cashing out, never cashing out” his March Madness futures ticket on the NC State Wolfpack.

His $500 bet on NC State is getting pretty close to a big-time payout, as the Wolfpack are just two games away from glory on DraftKings, and his bet would profit $90,000 if NC State somehow does win it all.

Brown’s current cashout sits at $2,345.01, according to a video on social media, but based on that video it doesn’t appear likely to be used by the bettor.

The Wolfpack have a tough date with Zach Edey and the Purdue Boilermakers this weekend; they are +340 on the moneyline and 9.5-point underdogs, as of Wednesday morning.

NC State is also down to 16/1 to win their next two games of the season, with the seemingly impossible path of having to face the country’s No. 1 player in Edey before a possible date with UConn.

Saturday’s game surely will come down to the DJ Burns-Edey matchup, as two big bodies will be banging in the paint from start to finish.

It’s easy to be bearish on NC State winning its Final Four matchup against Purdue, considering the insane amount of 3-point shooting variance the Wolfpack have enjoyed this tournament.

Duke shot just 5-for-20 beyond the arc in the Elite Eight, a substantial dip compared to its incredibly hot shooting earlier in the tournament.

Marquette was just 4-for-31 from 3-point land in the Sweet 16, and Oakland also didn’t put its best shooting performance forward with a 12-for-35 performance in the second round.

The good fortune for the Wolfpack has shown just how wild March Madness can be.
