League of Legends (LoL): Three-year-old Anivia Bug Resurfaces

When would League of Legends be bug-free? We’ll probably never know. While season 11 has just started, a huge bug on Anivia’s abilities has been brought to light, a bug that had already appeared three years ago and which allows to freeze a lane to infinity.

Bugs and League of Legends is a bit of a love affair. While some don’t impact the game much, others can be devastating. This is the case of this bug on the abilities of the Cryophoenix, Anivia – bug highlighted once again by the Youtubeur Vandiril.

This bug occurs on the passive of the champion: “When she suffers fatal damage, Anivia turns into an egg and comes back to life with all her health“. So far all is well, as we see in the video, Anivia dies, her egg appears and he too is destroyed before the champion can come back to life. Yes but voila, his egg does not really disappear and remains present in lane with a life bar and a life bar that never goes down … never. The opponents may well bludgeon him, the egg is literally invincible. So inevitably, when the opposing minions reach the egg, they start to fight him, and since he cannot die, the lane is automatically stopped. Yes, a lane is simply blocked until the end of the game, a big plus.

This is the second time that this bug has come into play, in 2018 Vandiril had already brought it to light. But the worst thing in history is that Anivia’s egg in this bug is the one in her old visual. Proof of this is that the lines of code in the game still contain old data that has not been properly corrected and/or erased by Riot Games. It has already been 6 days and a lot of players are abusing it right now.

At this time, the studio does not appear to have deployed a patch, but to avoid any future sanctions, you are strongly advised not to abuse this totally insane bug.
