Jackie Chan's New Look Leaves Fans Worried

It has already been reported that Chan is reprising his role as Mr. Han in the new Sony’s ‘Karate Kid‘ movie. There may be a chance that Mr. Han’s appearance could be related to his new look. According to the film’s synopsis:

Li, a proficient fighter and student in Beijing, faces a major change when his mother decides to move to Brooklyn due to a work opportunity. Struggling with a past tragedy, Li clashes with his doctor mother, who is also dealing with the same tragedy but with a different approach. Despite his mother’s aversion to violence and Kung Fu, Li discovers meaning in training Victor in this martial art, leading him to return to the ring as well.

Chan was born on April 7, 1954, in British Hong Kong. Since 1962, he has acted in over 150 films. Also, Chan has worked as a director, producer, stuntman, and singer. In 2016, he earned Oscars for his “extraordinary achievements” in film.

Back in 2022, Chan confirmed that ‘Rush Hour 4‘ was in the works while speaking at the Red Sea International Film Festival in Saudi Arabia. He mentioned, “We’re talking about part 4 right now.”

Chan is one of the fan-favorite martial arts legends known for creating his unique fighting styles in film. However, his older appearance is simply a result of natural aging.

The new ‘Karate Kid’ movie is scheduled to hit theaters on December 13, 2024, by Sony Pictures.
