The Jets offensive line started taking hits early Sunday afternoon, and it has not stopped since.
The fallout of the Jets’ 19-14 loss to the Panthers in the season opener has focused on how poor the offensive line performed with rookie quarterback Zach Wilson getting hit 10 times and sacked six.
The focus on the men paid to protect Wilson is warranted, and the Jets need to get improvement from them quickly, but that is not the only unit that can help Wilson’s second game go smoother than his first.
