The royal family’s official Instagram account just dropped a new video — and it has some commenters joking that it’s a dig toward Prince Harry.
The video shows footage of a ballroom, before cutting to Queen Camilla, 76, greeting guests and smiling and shaking their hands, as the scene then flashes over a teleprompter, chairs, chandeliers and a stage.
“Last week, The Queen hosted finalists and their families, alongside some special celebrity guests, for an exciting event at Buckingham Palace to award young authors with the coveted 500 Words prize,” the caption read. “The creative writing competition encourages children, 5-11 years old, to write a fictional story – using 500 words or fewer.”
However, the very first frame of the video lingers on audio equipment arranged on a table, with one clearly labeled “spare,” just like Prince Harry’s best selling tell-all memoir.

Commenters are already having a field day, with remarks on the post reading “Spare” followed by laughing emojis.
“They acknowledged their only one son,” another commenter said.
“Anyone notice the spare….shade?” another eagle-eyed observer wrote.
In his book “Spare,” which came out Jan. 10, 2023, Prince Harry, 39, dished dirt on members of the royal family, including his estranged brother Prince William; Kate Middleton, who has been mysteriously absent as she’s recovering from getting abdominal surgery in January; their father King Charles III; and Queen Camilla.

She was seen attending a memorial service for Greek King Constantine II on Feb. 27. Prince William skipped it for “a personal matter,” even though the deceased Greek royal was his godfather.

The queen then met with Ukraine’s First Lady Olena Zelenska at Clarence House the next day.
William and Princess Anne are now reportedly stepping in as an “exhausted” Camilla jets off to vacation. (She took on 13 more official engagements solo since her husband’s health scare went public.)
In his book “Spare,” which was a play on words for the famous expression “the heir and the spare,” Prince Harry took several shots at Camilla.
The book alleged that Camilla leaked stories to the press about Harry and the rest of the royal family, in order to get them to stop focusing on negative stories about herself.
Harry also wrote that he “begged” Charles not to marry her, as Harry believed that she would turn into his “wicked stepmother.”

“I know from various people who are close to her [that] she was pretty furious with what was being said about her,” the True Royalty co-founder told Fox News.
“But she is not someone that is going to be phoning Harry or [wife] Meghan [Markle] and shouting down on the phone at them.”
