Illumination has released the second trailer for ‘Despicable Me 4,’ in which Agnes, a new member of the Gru family, and Gru Jr., intent on tormenting his dad, are introduced. The fun trailer also provides a first look at the Superhero Minions. You can watch the trailer below.

As reported, the film has a runtime of 1 hour and 35 minutes (95 minutes). Directed by Chris Renaud and Patrick Delage, with a screenplay by Mike White. The film serves as the sequel to ‘Despicable Me 3‘ (2017), marking the fourth main installment and the sixth overall in the Despicable Me franchise. Also, check out the new poster below.

What is the Synopsis of ‘Despicable Me 4’?

According to Universal Pictures, ‘Despicable Me 4’ follows Gru (Steve Carell) and Lucy (Kristen Wiig) and their girls —Margo (Miranda Cosgrove), Edith (Dana Gaier), and Agnes (Madison Polan)—as they welcome a new member to the Gru family, Gru Jr., who is intent on tormenting his dad. Gru faces a new nemesis in Maxime Le Mal (Will Ferrell) and his femme fatale girlfriend Valentina (Sofia Vergara), and the family is forced to go on the run.

The cast also includes Joey King (Bullet Train), Emmy winner Stephen Colbert (The Late Show with Stephen Colbert), and Chloe Fineman (Saturday Night Live). Pierre Coffin returns as the iconic voice of the Minions and Oscar nominee Steve Coogan returns as Silas Ramsbottom.

‘Despicable Me 4’ will hit theaters in the United States on July 3, 2024, by Universal Pictures.
