Jerry Jeudy’s disappointing Rocky Mountain tenure is over.
The Broncos are trading the receiver to the Browns, according to NFL Network.
Denver, according to the report, is getting just a fifth- and sixth-round pick back in return, an indictment of just how much Jeudy’s value has declined in recent years.

A former Alabama star, Jeudy was drafted by the Broncos with the No. 15 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, but he’s failed to match high expectations.

Jeudy, 24, recorded 54 receptions, 758 receiving yards and two touchdowns last year.
Pro Football Focus ranked Jeudy as its 62nd-best receiver in the NFL in 2023 with a 67.8 overall grade.
During his four-year Broncos tenure, he recorded a combined 211 receptions, 3,053 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns.
This came after Jeudy emerged as one of the best receivers in the country at Alabama.
He hauled in 77 receptions 1,163 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns his final season in college, one year after tallying 68 receptions, 1,315 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns.

Now, he joins a wide receiver room that includes Amari Cooper, Elijah Moore and Cedric Tillman as notable competition for Jeudy.
He came under heavy criticism for his performances last year, most notably from former receiver and current NFL Network analyst Steve Smith.
It sparked a verbal spat between the two.
“I’ll repeat it — I’m sorry I said you were a JAG [just a guy] or just a guy who’s an average wide receiver they used a first-round pick on that doesn’t do anything,” Smith said on-air amid the feud. “I hope you show up today in a way that you haven’t shown up in the last couple of years since they drafted you.
“So if you’ve ever got a problem with Agent 89, I’m sorry for saying you’re an average wide receiver that [the Broncos] will eventually move on, and when teams call me and ask [if] they should trade for you, I will say no, don’t trade for Jerry Jeudy because he mentally unable to handle constructive criticism. … He can be a wide receiver — he’s a tier 3.”
