Garbage time is the best time for this bettor, who won big money thanks to Jameson Williams with an assist from Lions coach Dan Campbell.

This bettor laid $100 on DraftKings Sportsbook on a same-game parlay featuring the Lions’ Williams to score the first touchdown and last touchdown of Sunday’s NFC Championship game, with a $70,000 profit as the reward.

The Lions’ second-year wide receiver out of Alabama looked like his usual electric self but wasn’t heavily involved, catching just two passes and only given one carry.

But two of those went for paydirt and the timing couldn’t have been better.

Williams’ early scamper went for 42 yards as he ran through tacklers en route to a long touchdown. The bet was now live.

Then, down 10 points in the final two minutes, the Lions decided to go for a touchdown in lieu of kicking a field goal. Williams scored on fourth down to keep the Lions alive.

The decision to go for the touchdown while wasting a timeout by coach Dan Campbell was one of many dicey decisions that had fans up in arms after Detroit’s 34-31 loss, as The Post’s Mike Vaccaro chronicled.

Detroit began its final possession in a 34-24 game by moving down the field and holding onto its three timeouts. But the game essentially ended when, on fourth and goal from the three-yard line, Campbell decided to call timeout.

The team probably should have just kicked a field goal instead of pushing for the touchdown on fourth down.

Campbell’s decision to use the timeout forced the Lions to resign themselves to an onside kick, which has just a 3.2 percent success rate. So much for being an analytics guy.

Had Detroit kicked the field goal and forced a stop, ESPN projects Hail Marys from around the 50-yard line are completed at a 9.7 percent rate.

But the odd decision-making of Campbell worked out for this bettor, who woke up $70,000 richer this Monday.

Not quite “quit your job” money, but enough to give you a some pep in your step to start the week.
