How BetMGM’s deposit match works
There are fewer deposit matches on the market these days, and they come with important fine print you should know about — the “wagering requirement,” aka a rollover or playthrough.
With this BetMGM offer, you’ll get 20% extra on top of your deposit in bonus bets. It’s not tied to a specific game, only to your deposit.
The key caveat is that you must wager 10x your bonus amount in your first 30 days on the platform. So if you deposit $1,000 and get $200 in bonus bets, you must wager $2,000 in your first 30 days.

If you don’t reach the wagering requirement in 30 days, your bonus bets will be removed, as will any winnings from bonus bet wagers.

How BetMGM’s first bet on the house works
This offer is similar to what many other sportsbooks give out nowadays. If your first bet loses, you’ll be refunded in bonus bets equal to whatever you lost.
So say you deposit $500, and place a $500 bet on the Panthers +200 against the Packers on Sunday.

This offer is the most straightforward but is only available in four states — New Jersey, Michigan, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Not surprisingly, those are the only four states where BetMGM operates its online casino.
