It came a day after the Phillies, who lost for the first time at home in this postseason, blasted five homers en route to a 7-0 victory.
Houston starter Cristian Javier threw six no-hit innings while striking out nine and the Astros did all their scoring during a five-run fifth inning.
The last postseason no-hitter was thrown by the Phillies’ Roy Halladay in 2010.
