ARK Survival Evolved Andrewsarchus Spawn Locations

ARK Survival Evolved Andrewsarchus Spawn Locations

One thing that has kept the player base of Ark Survival Evolved strong and loyal is the regular updates that the game receives. With each new update, there are new additions to the game. Sometimes players are blessed with an entirely new map or a new creature. But there are also updates that introduce both a new creature and a map. One such DLC update for the game dropped in June of last year. The DLC was called “Fjordur” and it featured a new map along with a new creature, Andrewsarchus. This DLC is completely free, and you should definitely try it out. When you do download it, you will definitely want to see or perhaps even tame an Andrewsarchus. But to do so, you will need to find them first. You cannot just wander around, wasting your precious game time, hoping to stumble upon an Andrewsarchus. Well, to make things easier for you, we have put together this guide.

Fjordur seems to be inspired by the Norwegian word “Fjord” which is universally used to refer to the narrow, icy gorges of the Scandinavian region. Fjordur does indeed look heavily inspired by Scandinavian geography. Anyway, talking about Andrewsarchus, which is actually a real-life extinct mammal species from prehistoric times that can be tamed in Ark Survival, But before taming them, you will need to find them first. Fjordur is massive, and your search without some guidance is going to be a tedious one. Luckily, we are here to lend a helping hand.

So, coming back to the location of these beasts, we have listed some of their usual spawn spots. And to make things even easier for you, we have also shared the specific coordinates of the mentioned locations. So, let’s begin.

Midgard

Andrewsarchus are omnivorous, and they are usually seen grazing in the green fields of Midgard. To narrow down your search, check the island where the Blue Obelisk is located. More specifically, explore the northern edges of the island between Latitude 54.99, Longitude 28.71, and Latitude 58.7, Longitude 32.05. Keep exploring the vicinity, and you will definitely spot an Andrewsarchus grazing along with its buddies. But remember, they like green pastures, so you do not need to explore the sandier areas of this northern island.

Asgard

While we recommend limiting your search for Andrewsarchus to the Midgard section of Fjordur, you can also find them at Asgard. Just keep in mind that the spawn locations are fewer in this section. Nevertheless, if you are adamant about searching for an Andrewsarchus here, head to the Red Obelisk and explore along the coordinates given below:

Latitude 23.29, Longitude 34.43
Latitude 27, Longitude 37

And those are some areas of the map where you can spot an Andrewsarchus. Now, if you want to tame it, we have a guide for that as well; just click here. Anyway, this brings us to the end of the guide. We hope it was helpful. For more reads like this, keep checking Digistatement regularly.
