Are Pete Davidson and Emily Ratajkowski a match? Celebrity astrologer tells all

There’s something about Pete.

Continuing to advance in his sacred quest to date the most beautiful women in the world, Scorpio King of Staten Island and crown prince of regrettable tattoos Mr. Pete Davidson has recently been linked to model/actress/author Emily Ratajkowski.

The brunette babes were spotted holding hands in Brooklyn (cute) and wearing matching sweatpants on Davidson’s birthday.

Reports suggest the pair has been casually dating for a few months, though I question the validity of “casual” as Davidson’s zodiac sign is Scorpio. While our man loves to dress down he is virtually incapable of engaging in the relationship equivalent of flip flops.

Both parties are relatively new to the single scene. Ratajkowski, 31, @emrata to her Instagram followers, filed for divorce from her philandering, blue eyed, obnoxiously named husband Sebastian Bear-McClard in September. Known for her appearance in Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines” music video, the film “Gone Girl” and for her book of essays, “My Body,” Ratajkowski, shares one child, a son named Sylvester with her ex. Post spilt and pre Davidson, emrata was linked to Brad Pitt and spotted making out with Orazio Rispo on the streets of NYC. Get it.

Davidson, 28, parted ways with girlfriend Kim Kardashian in August after nine months of dating. Prior to his relationship with Kim K, Davidson dated the likes of Kate Beckinsale, Margaret Qualley, Kaia Gerber, Phoebe Dynevor and Ariana Grande, to whom he was briefly engaged. Hell of a roster of hotness my dude, hell of a roster.

Now that we’ve established where Davidson and Ratajkowski have been and who they’ve bedded, let’s talk about their odds. What do the stars say about the compatibility of this beauty and her bearer of BDE? Read on to learn more.

Breezy vs. brooding

At first glance, Ratajkowski’s breezy, curious, foot loose and nipples free Gemini sun seems like an odd match for Davidson’s brooding Scorpio self. Gemini prefers to keep it light and talk everything to death while Scorpio demands depth and devotion and can be sparse with words. This difference in communication style is exaggerated by both having Mercury, planet of language and exchange, in the same sign as their respective suns.

Yet, it seems that for the time being and in the first flush of feels, newness trumps compatibility, with sources saying Davidson makes Ratajkowski laugh and he digs how intelligent she is. Laughter and cerebral communion, we love to hear it folks and after the heart pummeling experience of betrayal and divorce, we’re glad Ratajkowski is back at it with someone that cracks her up.

When air signs like Gemini and water signs like Scorpio interact there is often intrigue, apprehension and on behalf of air, resistance to commit to the blood oath, hair doll level of intensity that Scorpio is always trying to elicit. In terms of archetypes, think of this Davidson/Ratajkowski pairing as Gomez Adams trying hard to get Nicole Kidman to accept his offer of undying love.

But romantics, don’t fret. The abundance of Leo in Ratajkowski’s chart (she has Mars, Venus and Jupiter all in the fixed fire sign) indicates a deep need for worship that a Scorpio like Davidson, having secured said blood oath, will be more than happy to provide. There’s a fine line between affection and obsession and it’s a border Scorpio loves to skirt.

Moons at odds

The couples moon signs, which indicate style of need and attachment are square one another, with Davidson’s moon in hard knocks, grind or die, never good enough Capricorn and Ratajkowski’s in born for war, advancement as the only option, burn the boats, smite your exes Aries. In astrology, square aspects are seen as challenging but transformative, suggesting this union will not be easy going but has the potential to be truly altering.

Because the moon is concerned with security, primal instincts and nourishment it may be hard for these two to give each other what they need. As both have their moons in cardinal signs, power struggles will be present and compromises few and far between. Bonus though, there is A LOT of potent physical energy betwixt squared off moon signs, suggesting sex will be incendiary and the fallout full of fireworks. Here, here.

Squares within relationships exist to activate us and ultimately accelerate personal evolution, so while all things and all relationships must end, the best among them change us for the better. Medicine comes in many forms and we hope Davidson and Ratajkowski can be that to, and for each other. We also low key can’t wait to see the body art she inspires, long may you love and recklessly may you tattoo yourself. We’re rooting for you, and if it doesn’t work out with emrata, Petey, Dionne Warwick is patiently waiting for her turn on your BD carousel.
