Va Bene, the yacht in question was designed by Richard Hein during the 1990s. Clapton decided he needed a superyacht after making around $250 million.

Va Bene was relatively cheap at $10 million for Clapton. He decided to do a few upgrades, and ensured that there was space for water sport equipment like canoes and kayaks. There is room for 25 people to sleep comfortably on this yacht, which means Clapton must throw some pretty fun parties.

Graeme Hart – Andromeda


The name Graeme Hart might not be that familiar. However, he is a billionaire hailing from New Zealand with a gorgeous yacht worth $275 million. The Andromeda had done a fair bit of traveling around before she was finally completed in 2015, having been sent to multiple shipyards. Kleven Maritime AS was charged with designing the yacht, which needed to be able to withstand expedition voyages.

The famous Harry Potter author, J.K. Rowling decided to splurge on the yacht, Amphitrite in 2015. She bought it from actor Johnny Depp, who reportedly sold it for $27 million. After owning the yacht for a year, Rowling decided she no longer wanted the expense of having a yacht and has since put it up for sale.
