A+E Networks Exec David Bank Promoted To Chief Financial Officer

A+E Networks executive David Bank has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer.

Bank, a former Wall Street analyst who previously was EVP, Chief Strategy & Corporate Development Officer at the company, is succeeding Art Vomvas. After stepping in over the past year as interim CFO, Vomvas is retiring after a nearly three-decade tenure on the A+E Networks’ finance and business planning team.

As CFO, Bank will lead the financial functions across all of A+E’s divisions in the United States and around the world, reporting to Paul Buccieri, President and Chairman of A+E Networks Group.

Bank said stepping into the CEO role would enable him to “collaborate further with Paul and the executive team to help the company continue to excel and evolve during this time of transformation in our industry.” 

Bank joined A+E Networks in 2019 to oversee the company’s long-term strategic and business development. Prior to his arrival at A+E, Bank headed investor relations for CBS Corp. after a 16-year career with RBC as an equity research analyst specializing in media and entertainment.
