Netflix renews Penn Badgley stalker hit ‘You’ for Season 4

Joe Goldberg will live to creep on another day.

Netflix has announced that hit stalker drama “You” starring Penn Badgley has been renewed for a Season 4, ahead of the Season 3 premiere on Friday.

The psychological thriller/dark comedy follows Joe (Badgley), a bookish intellectual who also happens to be a serial killer.

Season 1, which originally aired on Lifetime, was set in New York and followed his obsession with the ill-fated Beck (Elizabeth Lail) and his entanglement with her obnoxious friend group. Season 2 saw Joe relocate to LA and become obsessed with Love (Victoria Pedretti, “The Haunting of Bly Manor”) and entangled with her equally obnoxious friend group. As a plot twist, at the end of Season 2, instead of becoming another one of Joe’s victims, Love reveals that she’s secretly as unhinged and murderous as Joe.

According to Netflix, 43 million viewers tuned into the show during its first four weeks on the streamer.

“I feel like this show is asking some interesting questions,” Badgley told The Post. “Joe is threatened by the physically impressive brooding, somewhat predatory male archetype, because he’s actually quite sensitive. And the irony is, in his sensitivity and isolation, he ends up becoming a brooding predator himself, but completely unaware that he is.”

Season 3 will see the — uh, lovely couple — settle down into an ordinary life in suburbia with a baby, where they will try not to murder anyone. Joe and Love will face tech entrepreneurs, mommy bloggers and Instagram-famous biohackers.

“You” Season 3 premieres Friday, October 15 on Netflix.
