Rapper Megan Thee Stallion has donated more than $8,000 for the funeral of a fan after she was informed on social media by a user that a fan of hers had died unexpectedly and the family was struggling financially.

"Meg we lost a hottie," the user wrote on Twitter, tagging the 26-year-old rapper. "Our best friend passed away unexpectedly. They absolutely loved you, listening to ur songs was something we did every time we were together. We’re helping their family w funeral costs. We started a gofundme & are halfway there. @theestallion."

The user also tweeted a GoFundMe campaign link in the same thread and wrote: "Can you please help us out and RT the link?"
