The “Manningcast” on Monday Night Football featured a showdown of trash talk between Eli Manning and Kevin Hart.
The actor/comedian joined the broadcast and took a shot at the Giants legend over his former team’s current struggles. After Monday’s 30-10 loss to the Buccaneers, the Giants are 1-4 on the road.
“Well, Eli, it’s an exciting time for me, unlike the Giants,” said Hart — who’s a Philadelphia native and loyal Eagles fan — when Manning asked, “What’s happening?”
Peyton Manning, meanwhile, sat back and enjoyed the show. He had a good laugh when Hart said that the Giants defense isn’t “sucking for change.”
Hart went on to poke fun at Eli’s comment that he’s “always a Giant.”
“You’re a Giant forever? You can never shake that? You can never leave that behind? You gotta live with that for your whole life?” Hart asked. “Talk about torture.”
At one point, Eli repeatedly used the word “big” to describe Hart’s love for the Eagles, which was his way of trolling the actor about his height.
“You know, Eli, I see what you’re doing here. It’s very childish,” Hart clapped back. “There’s other words that we can use to describe it without you emphasizing the word ‘big.'”
The “Jumanji” actor later called out the quarterback legends for having a “fake brotherhood.”
“I’ll tell you what else I see through — this fake brotherhood that you and Peyton have. I know the truth, you don’t like each other. The gig is up, boys. Nobody believes it,” Hart said. “Because if you did get along, you’d be sitting next to each other in the room!”
Later on, the broadcast played a clip of Hart’s show, “Cold as Balls,” when Odell Beckham Jr. was a guest in 2018, and the two discussed the faces Eli makes.
“There’s been times where Eli has had the face of gas. You know what I’m talking about,” Hart said.
“The face of gas is when you know you know you just pooted. You know people are walking where you’re at. That’s what Eli does all the time. He’s got a ‘I just pooted, don’t come over here’ face.”
The Manning brothers appeared to get the last laugh, ending the segment with Hart completely shocked.
The Giants play host to the Eagles on Sunday.
