Gypsy Rose Blanchard has officially filed for divorce from husband Ryan Anderson, according to TMZ.
Blanchard filed for divorce Monday and is the petitioner in the divorce action.
Blanchard, 32 — who served seven years in prison for conspiring to kill her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard — married Anderson, 37, in July 2022 after they became pen pals while she was behind bars.

But, at the end of March, in a private Facebook announcement, Blanchard said the couple had split and that she was moving back in with her dad and stepmother after “hitting a rough patch” with Anderson.

Sources told TMZ that Blanchard claimed that Anderson got “super-argumentative” following her release from prison, which hit her hard, causing their initial split and, now, their divorce.
It was also reported by Page Six that she feared Anderson would hit her after they had a blowout fight before their split.
Anderson said he was blindsided by their initial split, “was not doing too well” and that it “came out of the blue.”
Blanchard has been spending “quality time” with her ex-fiance, Ken Urker. According to TMZ, they met up in New Orleans for dinner, tattoos (matching dog tats) and sightseeing — but they’re still “just friends,” for now.

There’s an upcoming Lifetime docuseries, “Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up,” which is expected to delve into her marital difficulties, since cameras were rolling ever since Blanchard was paroled.
Blanchard was a victim of Munchausen by proxy perpetrated by her mother, Dee Dee, who claimed for years that Gypsy Rose suffered from a variety of invented maladies and mentally and physically abused her daughter, including confining her to a wheelchair.

Their story was dramatized in the Hulu show, “The Act,” starring Joey King as Gypsy, Patricia Arquette as Dee Dee, and Calum Worthy as Godejohn. HBO covered it in the 2017 documentary, “Mommy Dead and Dearest.”
Blanchard also wrote a book, “Released: Conversations on the Eve of Freedom.”
In January, Lifetime aired a three-part bombshell documentary about Blanchard called “The Prison Confessions of Gypsy Rose Blanchard” featuring interviews with Blanchard, family members and former doctors.
