Giants’ Kadarius Toney playing versus Cowboys looks even less likely now

Wide receiver Kadarius Toney (hamstring) and DL Leonard Williams (knee) did not practice Saturday and are listed as doubtful on the final injury report.

Head coach Brian Daboll said it is “usually tough” to play someone who hasn’t practiced the final two days of the week, as is the case with Toney, who was downgraded from a limited participant Thursday to a non-participant Friday before the Giants play the Cowboys on Monday night.

“We’re just trying to do right by the player,” Daboll said, “and he didn’t do anything for walk-through, so we downgraded him.”

Williams’ streak of 112 straight games played to start his career is likely to end. If Toney does not play, it will be his eighth career game out of 20 missed due to various injuries, which upsets the vocal minority of Giants fans on Toney’s social media timeline.

“I keep to myself …ion kare [don’t care] for opinions … half that sh– be a narrative anyway …” Toney wrote on Twitter after he was not seen in the locker room by the media.
