Speaking to Total Film (via Games Radar), Blunt discussed her character in ‘The Fall Guy’ and revealed who inspired her for the role.

Blunt said, “We all kind of built her together, because I think, maybe in the original script, she was quite severe and that sort of tough director.” Blunt added, “But I think, for me, it’s always more interesting to play someone who’s in a situation where they’re way over their head.”

Blunt continued, “With the warmth and the charm, I guess there’s a little Greta in there. She was a mix of a few other people I’d met and pulled from.”

‘The Fall Guy’ premiered at SXSW on March 12, 2024, receiving positive reports about the film. Directed by Leitch from a screenplay by Drew Pearce. The film also stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson as a movie star who goes missing, Stephanie Hsu as the movie star’s personal assistant, Winston Duke as the stuntman’s best friend, Hannah Waddingham as a film producer, Teresa Palmer, and Ben Knight. Produced by Leitch, Gosling, Kelly McCormick, and Guymon Casady. Inspired by the hit 1980s TV series.
