Did Anyone Win Saturday’s Powerball? Jan. 15 Winning Numbers And Monday’s Jackpot

There were no big winners following the Saturday night Powerball drawing worth an estimated $48 million and a cash value of $33.3 million.

The winning lottery numbers drawn on Saturday, Jan. 15, were 3, 18, 37, 51, 59 with a red Powerball pull of 13. The Power Play was 2X.

Since the latest jackpot did not result in a grand prize-winning ticket, the next drawing will take place Monday evening with the jackpot climbing to an estimated $53 million with a cash option of $37 million.

Along with there being no first-place winner for the Powerball drawing, none of the players became instant millionaires last night.

If a player hit the Match 5, they would have won $1 million. If a player would have matched five numbers with the Power Play purchase, they could have won a $2 million prize.

Despite the lack of millionaires, several players were able to win smaller monetary prizes. Ten players hit the Match 4 plus the red Powerball, winning $50,000.

Meanwhile, three players matched four white-ball numbers and the red Powerball with a Power Play purchase, putting their winnings for the night at $100,000 apiece. The rest of the prizes from the night ranged between $4 and $200.

The latest Powerball drawing comes after a couple in Iowa claimed a $2 million prize after hitting the Match 5 in the Monday drawing.

Karla and Keith Elenz claimed their prize on Thursday after informing their family about the big win. Karla Elenz picked the set of numbers that were important to her and was one number away from winning the jackpot, which was worth $26.8 million at the time.

Since she purchased a Power Play, she was able to turn the initial $1 million win into a $2 million prize.

To become a jackpot winner, the player must match the six numbers on their ticket to the drawn six-number combination.

Five numbers have to be selected from 1 to 69 for the white balls, and a number is selected from 1 to 26 for the red Powerball.

The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are 1 in 292.2 million.
