Cooper Rush’s wife, Lauryn, is savoring every moment from the Cowboys quarterback’s big day.
Taking to her Instagram Stories on Sunday, Lauryn gushed over Rush, who helped lead Dallas to its first win of the season after replacing injured starter Dak Prescott, who is recovering from thumb surgery.
“Daddy,” she captioned a photo of Rush, who threw for 235 yards, one touchdown, and zero interceptions in the Cowboys’ 20-17 victory over the Bengals.

In a post shared on her Instagram Story, Lauryn Rush remarked, “Daddy,” as quarterback Cooper Rush helped lead Dallas to a victory.Instagram/Lauryn Rush via CowboysRush, who made his second career start on Sunday, said postgame, “You just want to do your job, trust your teammates.”
Hours after the game, Lauryn continued the celebrations with a “Victory Monday” post on social media.
Rush and the Cowboys will travel to the Meadowlands in Week 3 for a “Monday Night Football” matchup against the Giants. Dallas’ division rival is 2-0 for the first time since 2016.
Although it remains to be seen if Rush’s biggest fan will make the trip, one thing is for sure, Lauryn will be cheering on the quarterback come game day, whether near or far.

“I would have said yes the first day I met you,” Lauryn shared on Instagram at the time. “Cooper Robert Rush, you are the love of my life and I cannot wait to spend forever with you.”
The couple tied the knot in June 2020 and welcomed a daughter, Ayla, in April 2021.
