‘Cheer’ star Cassadee Dunlap’s dad shot, in ‘critical condition’

The father of “Cheer” star Cassadee Dunlap is in critical condition after being shot Saturday when he accidentally walked into the wrong apartment in Arkansas.

The 49-year-old entered the wrong apartment in a complex in Little Rock around 3 a.m. and was subsequently shot by the owner, local channel KATV reported.

A spokesperson for the Little Rock police department said that Ron Dunlap had been out drinking with his nephew and a few friends before trying to force his way into apartment 12D instead of his own 15C apartment.

Joshua Womack, the owner of apartment 12D, said that he was asleep when he heard a banging.

Womack, 23, said that he “woke up and grabbed his firearm” and fired five or six rounds at Dunlap.

Police found Dunlap “lying face down on the ground outside of Womack’s apartment” and managed to render enough aid to transport him to a hospital where he is listed in critical condition.

Dunlap’s daughter Cassadee, who appeared in the second season of the Netflix hit “Cheer,” has yet to issue a statement.

The former Navarro cheerleader and “Toddlers and Tiaras” star is currently working as a part-time cheerleading coach at the University of Arkansas.

Little Rock Police told The Post that the investigation is ongoing and no charges have been filed.

The Post has also reached out to Dunlap and “Cheer” for comment.

This is the latest scandal to rock the foundation of the Netflix show.

Earlier in July, former “Cheer” superstar Jerry Harris was sentenced to 12 years in prison and forced to register as a sex offender after several people came forward saying that he tried to engage in sexual activity with minors. An FBI investigation revealed he was producing child pornography.

In June another member of the Navarro team was hit by a car.

Maddy Brum, 19, was crossing the street in Kansas City, Missouri, when the car came flying out of nowhere.

Brum’s injuries were not life-threatening and only left with “bruises and cuts.”

Netflix has yet to announce if they will produce a third season of the sports documentary.
