Blaster Master Zero 3: System Requirements & Steam Release Date

Blaster Master Zero 3 is the latest instalment in a series that is considered one of the earliest Metroidvania games ever, with a combination of both side-scrolling world exploration and top-down action providing users all the nostalgia of the 1990s. In this article, we will be taking a look at what the system requirements are to run this game on your setup, and when it will be releasing on Steam. Right, let’s get straight into it.

The planned Steam release date for Blaster Master Zero 3 is July 29, 2021. In case you are unsure of whether or not this game will be to your liking, you can download the steam demo for the game here, it has been out for a few months now.

Now, let us take a look at the system requirements to run the game, as provided by Steam. The following are the official minimum requirements to run Blaster Master Zero 3 on your system:

  • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system

  • Compatible OS: Windows 7, 8.1, 10

  • Processor: 2Ghz or faster processors

  • Memory: 2 GB RAM

  • Graphics: 512MB VRAM (NVIDIA GeForce)

  • DirectX: Version 9.0c

  • Storage: 500 MB available space

So, if you regularly run games on your device, these minimum system requirements should not pose any hassle, and with good reason: these are simply the lowest settings that the developers theorized the game could run on, but I do not think anyone would really want to run a game on these settings unless they were forced to. As such, here are the recommended system settings for running Blaster Master Zero 3:

  • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system

The Steam site does not list any other recommended system settings, and this may be due to the fact that the whole point of the game’s art style and production is to be reminiscent of the old days of gaming, back when we did not need huge beefy PCs for a gaming experience. Clearly, this game focuses on the concept of true beauty lying in simplicity.
