Amy Sedaris took an embarrassing tumble onstage at the National Board of Review Awards Gala in NYC on Thursday night.
The actress and comedian, 62, was so excited to present Paul Giamatti with the Best Actor award for his role in “The Holdovers” that she accidentally fell flat on the floor in front of a packed room of celebs.
After handing Giamatti the accolade, Sedaris headed to the back of the stage as the actor was gearing up to make a speech following his win.
But it was then that the “Elf” actress stumbled and fell — much to the surprise of others.
Giamatti, 56, rushed over to help the actress up, but it appeared as though the tumble was not serious enough as Sedaris remained on the floor as the room broke out in laughter.

The National Board of Review shared a hilarious snap of the ordeal on social media.
“NBR Best Actor winner Paul Giamatti literally floored presenter Amy Sedaris with his nuanced comic performance in Alexander Payne’s THE HOLDOVERS!” they captioned the Instagram post.

The star-studded soiree, hosted at Cipriani 42nd Street, honors and recognizes the best films released within the past year.
Cooper received the NBR Icon Award for his role as composer Leonard Bernstein in the newly-released “Maestro.”

This year’s top honorees include “Killers of the Flower Moon” for Best Film; Martin Scorsese for Best Director; Paul Giamatti for Best Actor in “The Holdovers,” and finally, Lily Gladstone for Best Actress.
