Mike Tomlin invites local kids to Steelers camp after seeing them fight

A group of fighting kids got a shock and a workout this week from Steelers coach Mike Tomlin.

According to Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer, Tomlin pulled over when he saw the youngsters, all attendees at a local community center, going at it in the street. The longtime Pittsburgh coach got them to stop fighting, hung out with them for hours and then invited them to Steelers practice at Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, Pa.

But they didn’t just get to watch — they ran through drills with the coach and running back Najee Harris, who showed them some fleet feet during ladder drills.

Per Glazer, the kids weren’t the only ones to get a kick out of their practice with the pros.

“The entire team loved these kids up yesterday,” he tweeted. “Beautiful scene.”
