Meghan Markle podcast on hold during Queen Elizabeth II mourning period

Meghan Markle will once again be silenced.

The Duchess of Sussex’s new podcast “Archetypes” is being put on hold amid international mourning for the Queen, who died Sept. 8.

The podcast “will be paused during the official mourning period for Her Majesty The Queen,” according to the official Spotify page.

The Queen’s funeral is scheduled for Sept. 19 at Westminster Abbey.

Markle — wife of the queen’s grandson Prince Harry — launched the podcast in August with the mission to “dive into the labels that try to hold women back.”

So far, she’s interviewed Serena Williams, Mariah Carey and Mindy Kaling.

“Archetypes” currently occupies the No. 2 spot on the Spotify charts — and dethroned Joe Rogan’s “The Joe Rogan Experience” from the No. 1 spot on the week of its release.

Markle was not by Queen Elizabeth II’s side when the monarch died at the age of 96 last week. Their relationship was complicated — starting off on the right foot when the former “Suits” actress entered the royal orbit in 2017, but becoming strained when she and Harry sat down with Oprah Winfrey for an explosive interview in 2021.

Markle and Prince Harry stepped down as senior royals and left the United Kingdom for California in the year prior.

The royal family — including then Prince Charles, Prince William and the queen — were reportedly “incandescent with rage” because they weren’t given the proper heads-up, The Post previously reported.

Harry’s father and brother reportedly learned about the split from the news, according to reports at the time.

However, Markle has been present alongside Harry, his brother Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton, during the queen’s mourning events — breaking royal protocol, nonetheless.
