Demi Lovato's ex-fiancé, Max Ehrich, has accused her of using their split for "clout," and the pop star's fans are not having it.

On Wednesday, Lovato shared photos of her partially shaved head and blond dye job on Instagram. However, her ex apparently took the post as a cue to call her out after she made a quip about getting "unengaged" during the 2020 People's Choice Awards Sunday.

"Exploiting our breakup for clout at PCA is not chill," Ehrich commented on her post Thursday, Page Six reported. "Stop talking about me on award show. thanks.”

The 29-year-old actor's comment drew the ire of Lovato's fans, who slammed him for his exploitative actions following the end of their engagement.

Lovatics reminded the "Young and the Restless" star of him returning to the beach where he proposed and crying in front of the paparazzi, pleading for her attention on social media and kissing singer Mariah Angeliq in front of many cameras.
