Mandy Moore Threw Up After After Reading The 'Penultimate Episode' Of 'This Is Us'

Mandy Moore believes that the "penultimate episode" of "This Is Us" will make everyone emotional. In fact, the actress said she threw up after reading the script.

During an appearance on Tuesday's "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," the 38-year-old actress hinted just how devastating the final two episodes of the show would be. When asked to rate just how emotional the episodes would be on a 1 to 10 scale, Moore said that it is going to be heartbreaking, as per ET Online

"I will tell you that the penultimate episode, which airs in like a week, I threw up after I read it," she said, which prompted Fallon and the crowd to gasp in unison.

"And maybe that's just because it's really close to the bone for me. This has been my life for the last six years and it’s like I simultaneously have to say goodbye to the character, to my family and friends on set, and this character’s also coincidentally saying goodbye as well. So there’s a lot wrapped up in it."

"I still think you might need a day off from work, yes. The finale is a bit more of a hug, a little bit more of levity," she added. However, the penultimate episode "destroyed me," she said.

"I have a feeling it might destroy people too."

Moore, who plays teen/adult/elder Rebecca Pearson in the series, also revealed that a few parts of the last two episodes were actually filmed three years ago, and all credit goes to the brilliance and vision of the show's creator, Dan Fogelman.

About a week ago, Moore took to Instagram to share an emotional post after wrapping up the shoot.

"Finishing the way we started. @miloanthonyventimiglia and I shot the very first scenes of the pilot together and got to finish our last scene of @nbcthisisus side by side. I haven’t begun to process the end of this journey quite yet and I’m sure it will take me time," she wrote.

"I’m still kicking myself over what I had planned to say to our magnificent crew and then crumbled and forgot out of emotion… but hopefully the gratitude came across. We still have 3 BIG episodes to share together. Stay tuned!! _ by @sterlingkbrown," she captioned the image of her hugging Milo Anthony Ventimiglia.
