Lowe’s is a very well-known American retail company that specializes in home improvement. The headquarters of this company are located at Mooresville, North Carolina and it operates a chain of retail stores at United States and Canada. Since November 2018, Lowe’s and its related businesses have been operating in around 2,200 home improvement and hardware stores at North America. The company is the second-largest hardware chain at United States and around the world after The Home Depot, Leroy Marlin, B&Q, OBI and Menards. The company became the official sponsor of National Football League in January 2019.

The company has been a recipient of eight Energy Star Awards from 2003 to 2010 and this includes four Energy Star Partner of the Year awards for making consumers aware about the advantages of energy efficiency. Lowe’s also won the Energy Star Sustained Excellence Award in Retail on 1st March 2010 and recognized the contribution of the company by decreasing greenhouse gas emissions trough promotion of energy-efficient products and making consumers and employees aware about the value of the Energy Star program. The company also introduced a policy in the year 2000 stating that all the wood products sold will not be sourced from rainforests.

But despite being such a popular platform, Lowe’s has been facing some errors that are creating major problems for its users. The issue is the checkout. Users have complained that the checkout of Lowe’s is not working. Users said that they carefully selected the items and included it in their cart but the cart does not work at all. Other users said that when they tried to purchase anything on Lowe’s, the item was scanned properly but then suddenly an error message showed up saying that there is an unexpected item in the bagging area. When the users removed the item, another message appeared saying ‘return item to bagging area’. Lowe’s has not mentioned anything about the cause of this problem and neither they have suggested any solution for it. Still, if you are experiencing the same, follow these steps and try to fix it by yourself –

  1. Clear the cache and cookies of your browser.
  2. Exit the website and try the purchase again.
  3. Check if the stock of the item you want to purchase is available.
  4. Open the website on another browser and try to make the purchase again.
