Lori Harvey is sharing the secret behind her weight loss.

In an interview with Us Weekly, weeks after her split from ex Michael B. Jordan made headlines, the 25-year-old model revealed her strategies for losing weight, including her diet and workout routine.

"I try not to restrict myself too much. I like to eat what I want to eat, but I just eat it in moderation so for the majority of my days, I'll do healthy eating — my green juices and, of course, I'll do my Pilates or I'll go workout at the gym," she told the outlet while promoting the opening of Wakuda inside The Venetian Las Vegas. "I like to go to Dogpound, I do hikes, things like that. I like to do really just smaller portions has been the key for me."

Earlier this year, Harvey shared in a TikTok video that she gained 15 pounds of "relationship weight" when she was still dating Jordan. "It was horrible, none of my clothes fit, it was just not OK," she said at the time.

Harvey shared how she shed pounds via Pilates, working out five to six times a week and limiting her daily calorie intake to 1,200 in a day. The revelation of her 1,200-calorie diet sparked backlash on social media, with a number pointing out that it was way below the recommended amount the average adult should be consuming.

When asked about the reaction to her dietary habits, the model laughed, according to Us Weekly.

"That was only just, like, when I'm in diet mode and I try to slim down, then I'll try to restrict my calories a little bit to drop weight, if that's what I'm trying to do," she explained. "But for the most part, no, when I'm just maintaining, I still eat what I want, I'm just mindful of my portions."

Harvey also noted that calorie restriction depends on the person's body type. She suggested figuring out "what caloric intake works for you to maintain" and then consuming "a bit less than that" amount in order to drop weight.

She also spoke about her skincare brand Skn by LH, which she launched in October 2021. According to Harvey, the five-step skincare regimen was inspired by her personal skin problems growing up as she had sensitive skin and couldn't use most products available on the market.

After she started modeling, Harvey said she tried to get her skin "back to healthy" using many different products. Ultimately, she decided to make her own products because she "wanted an easy step-by-step skincare routine."

Meanwhile, Harvey seems to have moved on from her relationship with Jordan, whom she dated for a year and a half before they parted ways in early June. She deleted all photos with the actor from her Instagram account last month. Jordan also scrubbed his ex-girlfriend clean from his own account two weeks later.

Unnamed sources told People that the model and the "Black Panther" actor split because they were not on the same page when it comes to their future.

Jordan had "matured a lot over the course of their relationship and was ready to commit for the long term" when they were still together, according to one insider.

However, Harvey "wasn't ready to commit" and is "very focused on her career" at the moment, another source claimed.
