League of Legends is a massively played Multiplayer online battle arena game. It is available to play on many platforms but is mostly played on Microsoft Windows. Here are some ways which you can implement to experience high FPS and enhanced performance of League of Legends on Windows 11.


In-game Settings


Join a custom game and head to the options. Here, go to the video section and implement the following settings:


  1. Resolution: Set your native monitor resolution. It will provide the best possible FPS to you.

  2. Window Mode: Full Screen 

  3. Enable “Hide Eye Candy”, and “Use relative team colors”

  4. Set Graphics to “Increased Performance”

  5. Character Quality: Medium

  6. Effects Quality: Very Low

  7. Environment Quality: Low

  8. Shadow: Off

  9. Frame Rate Cap: Set it according to your monitor.

Keeping the game running in the background and open the Task Manager



Task Manager Settings


  1. Under the Processes tab, right-click on “League of Legends (TM) Client” and select “Go to Details”.

  2. Here, select the “LeagueClientUxRender.exe” that has the highest Memory, right-click on it, and set the priority to high.

  3. You can also end some unnecessary programs that might be running in the background.

Moreover, if you are using the NVIDIA graphics card, then you can apply these settings also.


NVIDIA GeForce Experience Settings


Before updating any settings, make sure that your graphics driver is up to date.


  1. To apply the settings, Open the NVIDIA GeForce Experience application. 

  2. Now, go to the home tab and select “Details” under League of Legends.

  3. Click on the “Custom Settings” icon to set the performance-oriented or quality-oriented settings. 

Windows Settings


  1. Open the System Settings window and select Gaming.

  2. Here, Disable Xbox Game Bar and Game Mode.

  3. Under Game Mode Window, select Graphics, and click on Browse.

  4. Now, Go to the League of Legends game folder and add the League of Legends application to the list (Usually, it is C:Program FilesRiot GamesValorantLeague of LegendsGame League of Legends) 

  5. When League of Legends is added to the list, click on its options and set the priority of High performance.

Last but not the least, delete all the temporary files from your computer. You can find them by running %temp%, temp, and prefetch in Run Window.
