EXCLUSIVE: Lauren Graham (The Z-Suite) has closed a deal to join Maika Monroe, Tyriq Withers, and Rudy Pankow in Reminders of Him, Universal Pictures‘ adaptation of the novel by It Ends With Us scribe Colleen Hoover.
First published in 2022, Reminders of Him follows Kenna Rowan (Monroe), a young mother who returns to her hometown after serving five years in prison for a tragic accident. Determined to reunite with her daughter, who is being raised by her late boyfriend’s parents, Kenna faces judgment and resistance from the community, but nonetheless fights for redemption, forgiveness, and a second chance at love and motherhood.
Graham plays Grace Landry, the mother of Kenna’s late boyfriend, Scotty.

Vanessa Caswill is directing from a script by Hoover and Lauren Levine, with the latter duo producing through their production company, Heartbones Entertainment, alongside Gina Matthews through her Little Engine Productions. Robin Fisichella is executive producing, with Director of Production Development Christine Sun overseeing the project for the studio.
Best known for starring on the series Parenthood and Gilmore Girls, Graham can currently be seen starring in The Z-Suite, a Tubi comedy on which she’s an executive producer. Also seen last winter in Lionsgate’s The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, she earlier this year headed to Sundance with Twinless, a dark comedy in which she stars opposite Dylan O’Brien, which won the U.S. Dramatic Audience Award before being snapped up for distribution by Lionsgate and Roadside Attractions.
