How to watch Mets vs. Phillies with Jets-Patriots game airing on Fox

It’ll be a throwback television night for the Mets on Thursday.

The Mets will begin their massive four-game series against the Phillies, their final home games of the season, on Channel 9 (WOR).

The game is a Fox national exclusive, but with the Jets playing the Patriots on Amazon’s “Thursday Night Football,” those two local NFL markets get the games on free television, and in the New York area it will be on Fox 5.

Thus, the Mets-Phillies game has been bumped to My9, the sister station of Fox 5.

Each game of the four-game set will air on a different channel.

Friday night’s Mets-Phillies game is an Apple TV+ exclusive, while Saturday’s 4:10 p.m. game will air on SNY.

The teams will finish the series by playing on ESPN’s “Sunday Night Baseball.”

After that dizzying stretch, Mets fans will have some familiarity over the team’s final six games, with huge road series against the Braves and Brewers as they try to secure their spot in the 2024 MLB playoffs.

SNY will carry five of the six games, while next Saturday’s game in Milwaukee will air on PIX11.

As for Thursday’s game, Mets star Francisco Lindor remains sidelined with a back issue as hot prospect Luisangel Acuna draws another start at shortstop.

Luis Severino will take the mound against ex-Met Taijuan Walker.
