Sacramento will be the metal capitol of the world this weekend.

On Oct. 10-13, the Aftershock Festival drops into Discovery Park for four loud days of heavy metal, thrash metal, nu metal, alternative metal, groove metal and more.

Headliners at this year’s four-day extravaganza include Slayer, Slipknot, Iron Maiden, Mötley Crüe and Disturbed.

They’ll be joined by Pantera, Judas Priest, Five Finger Death Punch, Evanescence and Breaking Benjamin.

Plus, Tom Morello will be there performing Rage Against The Machine’s greatest hits as well as solo material.

In total, over 130 (!) acts are set to grace the Discovery Park stages over the long weekend.

At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on four-day general admission passes was $417.35 including fees on Vivid Seats.

Single-day passes start at $158.71 including fees.
