Here’s which Broadway shows are reopening and how to get tickets

It’s official: Broadway is coming back. The 41 storied theaters from Midtown to Lincoln Center have been shuttered since March due to the coronavirus pandemic.

That’s 525,600 minutes and some change — but, barring unforeseen problems, they will reopen at full, glorious capacity starting Sept. 14.

The shows’ scheduling announcements are coming fast and furious, so here is a guide to when each play and musical will reopen, and how to snag tickets.

“Chicago” Sept. 14

And all that jazz! The sexy revival of John Kander and Fred Ebb’s crime comedy “Chicago” has been running on Broadway for 25 years — and it will be among the first Broadway shows to return. Tickets start at $49.50 at Telecharge.com and are on sale through Feb. 6, 2022.

“Hamilton” — Sept. 14

“Come From Away” — Sept. 21

When “Come From Away,” a show about stranded American travelers in Newfoundland, Canada, on Sept. 11, opened in 2017, I wrote “Every New Yorker must see this show.” That’s even truer now. Tickets start at $49 on Telecharge.
