Fans alarmed over Bruce Willis’ missing tooth in birthday video

Footage of Bruce Willis’ 68th birthday celebration set off alarm bells after fans noticed that the star appeared to be missing a tooth in the video.

The touching clip had been posted by the 68-year-old’s ex-wife Demi Moore on Sunday, just a month after it came out that the “Die Hard” star was suffering from dementia.

In the moving footage, Moore, Willis’ wife Emma Heming Willis and his daughters can be heard serenading the action movie icon with the birthday song, with Willis himself even joining in for several seconds.

The “Sixth Sense” actor then blew out the candles on his cake, prompting the onlookers to cheer “hip hip hooray.”

“Happy birthday, BW!” Moore, 60, gushed in the caption. “So glad we could celebrate you today. Love you and love our family. Thank you everyone for the love and warm wishes – we all feel them.”

While the b-day soiree certainly was touching, many fans couldn’t help but notice that the actor appeared to be missing a tooth.

“Does no one care Bruce is missing a front tooth … What happened there?” wrote one concerned commenter in the comments.

“Bruce is missing a tooth,” said another.

While many gawkers repeated this question, one viewer told the original commenter to “mind your own business.”

Last month, Willis’ announced that the “Tears of the Sun” actor had frontotemporal dementia, a degenerative disorder caused by neuron damage in the frontal and temporal lobes of the brain.

“FTD is a cruel disease,” they wrote in a joint statement last month. “Today there are no treatments for the disease, a reality that we hope can change in the years ahead.”

It came nearly a year after the actor was diagnosed with aphasia, another brain disorder that forced him to retire from acting early last year, as the brain disorder affects his ability to communicate. Willis had reportedly been struggling on set prior to his diagnosis.

In fact, earlier in the day on Sunday, Emma Heming Willis uploaded a heartbreaking Instagram video, in which she described feeling grief and sadness on her husband’s first birthday since the dementia diagnosis.

“I have started the morning by crying,” the model explained in the vid, adding that she’s had to put her “big girl panties” on and stay strong for her two kids.

“The silver lining or the flip side is that I’m so lucky to feel your warmth and love that is directed to my husband and our family,” she added in the caption. “I see your messages, your stories that you share, and all I can say is thank you.”

Heming later posted a video montage of her husband with the caption: “He is pure love. He is so loved. And I’ll be loving him always. Happy Birthday my sweet.”
